This coffee maker made the finest cup of coffee I have ever produced myself.Unfortunately, the heating element went out once and had to be repaired.About 3 months later the new element freaked out and heated the carafe hot enough to give me a second degree burn on my arm in about 2 nanoseconds.At that point I gave up.I still dream about the delicious coffee this beast produces.
